Current Projects
Erie, CO
Timberline is currently constructing a methane recovery and processing solution that will process methane from the Denver Regional Landfill into clean energy that will be used in Colorado. The Erie project is expected to be completed in 2009.
Larimer County, CO
Timberline has signed an agreement with Larimer County Landfill to construct a methane recovery and processing solution that will process the methane recovered from the Larimer County landfill into clean energy that will be used in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Larimer County project is expected to go into commercial operations in 2009.

Hernando County, FL
Timberline has constructed and is operating a methane recovery and processing solution that converts methane from the Hernando County landfill into electricity. This electricity is sold to Seminole Electric G&T as renewable energy for their customers. The Hernando Project is expected to produce 3 megawatts (MW) of renewable power when it reaches full operating capacity.
Butler County, NE
Timberline has constructed and is operating a methane recovery and processing solution that processes the methane recovered from the Butler County landfill into clean energy that is used in the boilers of Henningsen Foods. The clean methane provides a renewable and sustainable fuel source, displacing natural gas to fire steam boilers. The Butler County Project went commercial in July of 2008.
Oklahoma City, OK
Timberline has completed a methane recovery and processing solution that converts methane recovered from the Oklahoma City landfill into high-BTU natural gas. The expected 550,000 decatherms (Dth) per year of natural gas from this project will be transported by interstate pipelines to provide renewable, sustainable natural gas supplies for Westar Energy’s customers in Kansas. The Oklahoma City Project began commercial operations in April 2008.
